The Shrine of Our Lady of Dublin is located in the Whitefriar Street Church in e Irish capital city. Focal point of a century-long story of Marian veneration, the wooden sculpture representing Our Lady and the Child is one of the shrines of the church. Since the 1270s, the Carmelite friars have been a presence in the Whitefriar Street Church and today they witness the devotion and prayers of many faithful who come to Dublin and the Shrine to ask for the intercession of the Virgin, in communion with God. In the Prayer to Our Lady of Dublin, faithful ask for prayers for the young, the adults and the elderly, that they can follow the path set by the Gospel of Christ through all vicissitudes of their life.
